Alternatively, they suggest that merely reminding people about authority figures might also do the trick.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I would guess more the latter... sort of in line with the finding that getting people to affirm they will tell the truth (whether it be swearing on a Bible or just promising) makes them more likely to actually do it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now, I suspect I might exhibit this effect quite strongly, but only because I would be annoyed after reading the sentences about God and religion, and so desirous to show off that I&amp;#39;m a Super Smart Atheist(TM).  hahaha....
